The Lion, ant and grasshopper costume hats

I was a custom order on Etsy. A lion, ant, grasshopper and mouse costume hats, just like my style. A mouse costume hats I have but not lion, ant and grasshopper.

At first I made a lion hat but I have not any ideas how to make the hair. I cut small stripes of orange fleece, made rolls and sewed by hand. I took too much time. Second attempt was long fleece stripe and sewing by machine. But customer needed an adult size and more hair. So I started the third lion and he got lot of hair.

For ant and grasshopper I have not any ideas too. Ok, grasshopper is green and he has long long legs. At least, both grasshopper and ant got long feelers with wire and big eyes. So, it is easy and beautiful solution. I love easy things.

At present these hats are on the way from Estonia to US. I hope they not lost in the post.
